Berwick Gathers its Tenth Win

Prem Osborne's nifty finish in the fifteenth minute stood up as the visiting Bulldog's collected it tenth win of the season. On a beautiful Friday afternoon, Prem could have doubled the lead moments later, but it was Drew Cabral who coolly rounded the keeper early in the second half and finished his, giving Berwick the separation they needed. Beaver kept things interesting with some dangerous attacks but the defense once again stood strong and goalie Owen Kenney earned another shut out. Jamie Simonds and Connor Hansen added some meaningful minutes and contributed to a fine team win. In the end, it was Mateo Jimenez, who was strong in the midfield all day, who beat three defenders before smashing home the third goal of the game, capping off a good day for all!
